MAINTAINING A HEALTHIER SELF!
Welcome! My name is Tiphereth and I am the founder of 360 Mind Body & Muscle Fitness. If you are reading this, you are probably wondering what i'm all about. I am a Health Fitness Professional who specializes in the art of movement as a form of medicine. I work with individuals such as yourself to help you improve the health of your body and mind.
I’ve been a post-secondary student on and off since 2010/11 to now (that was not my plan it just happened). I have a 2-year diploma from Conestoga College as a Hearing Instrument Specialist, a bachelors degree from Western University in the field of Health Sciences and soon also a honours degree in the field of Kinesiology. I am the oldest of 7 siblings and going to the gym or riding my bike is my go-to when I’m upset, stressed, or feeling overwhelmed with life. It is my addiction. Oh! I was 25 years old when I learned how to ride a bike! I also dislike being in hospitals. This is just a small snap shot about myself, I would end up with a book chapter if I told you everything.
Health and fitness to me means MUCH more than how “Fit” one looks. It is more about how healthy, happy and physically functional one feels and considers themselves to be.
Many may have heard that “having all the money in the world doesn’t make you happy”, well it is true unfortunately. You can be the richest person but if you are bed ridden or in the hospital for the best part of your life and unable to enjoy the world around you then what is the point. I know that seems harsh but it was a reality that I came to when I was deciding on whether to have a career as a nurse. This lead me to explore other career options that would involve helping people but without having to be in the hospitals. So that is why I am where I am today.
My passion is to help individuals see the joy in being active, whether they are young or older; active or not active; have movement limitations/impairments due to age or inactivity or non of the above. Life is not long enough and we spend more than half of it working and paying bills. It is time to take control of your life by keeping yourself healthy and happy, Quality of Life is a currency that is hard to obtain. I am here to help you go out and grab it!
360 Mind Body & Muscle Clients
The goal of 360 Mind Body & Muscle Fitness is to help the growing population of older adults, who are retired or soon-to-be retired, stay physically and mentally independent.
360 MBM Fitness uses different forms of resistance and cardiovascular training to coach you into becoming the healthiest version of yourself as you move into the least stressful time of your life (the golden years). All though 360 MBM Fitness focuses on helping the older population maintain or gain a healthier self, we also strive to help all individuals of any age understand their bodies abilities/limitations in order to have a healthy body and mind for a full healthy life.
